Both fighters have their limitations and that what makes for an interesting fight these days. No fighter in the division is seen as an all conquering and dominating colossus so close fights with no obvious winner are needed to pique the publics curiosity. It helps having a giant like Valuev and a smart talking, charismatic individual like Haye fighting but it is more than that in this fight.

For once I must credit SKY TV in the U.K for spending time promoting this fight without relying on the usual promoters waffle. David has also done a good job of selling this fight to the british public, even though at times he seems to have gone slightly over board and made himself seem a loudmouth and irritating.

Here’s looking to a good, exciting match up with a K.O one way or another but my money is on Valuev by late stoppage.

It came as no shock that Chelsea were able to have their 2 year transfer ban suspended by the court of arbitration for sport, allowing to purchase players in the january transfer window. I imagine that the powers that be at Chelsea will already be getting the cheque book ready for a mammoth spending spree in case this is the last chance for a while. like a shopper expecting a blizzard they will be stocking up on anything they can get their hands on: Ribery, Villa, Silva, Aguerro, Krasic, Jovanovic, no player or club will be safe!

Don’t get me wrong i’ve got nothing against Chelsea and if I were in their position I would do just the same. It’s FIFA’s mess and as usual the will leave it for others to clear up. As long as football is run by a bunch of back scratching money men, happy to take the moral high ground without ever really benefitting the game then decisions like this will continue ad finitum.
